 The 19th annual Dallas Legacies History Conference takes place at the Dallas Public Library on January 27th, 2018. The conference theme is Dallas on the Move, saluting the importance of transportation to the development of Dallas.  The event will be capped off with a Conversation with a History Maker: George Scrader, Dallas City Manager, 1971-1981.  Registration is $35 through January 19th, and can be done in advance online or by mail or starting at 8 am on the day of the conference, so come early for morning refreshments and to browse the vendor area for sales and learn more about local history organizations and archives.  The Dallas Public Library is a proud co-sponsor of this event.
