Event Details

The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in collaboration with LIRA Group is hosting the 2022 Juneteenth 3K Walk & Festival on Saturday, June 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The event will start with a Health & Wellness Walk and end with a Community Festival. You must register for the walk on Eventbrite at bit.ly/juneteenth22 in order to participate. There will be live entertainment, selling vendors and free activities for children.      

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. The opening ceremony for the walk kicks off at 9:00 a.m., and the walk starts at 9:30 a.m. The festival will begin immediately after the walk.  The Martin Luther King Jr. Branch Library will be in attendance passing out fun activities for the entire family.

This year’s theme is “2022 A Better Me, A Better You!”
