Event Details

Experience the awe of the April 2024 total eclipse at the Preston Royal branch! 

We will have a telescope fitted with protection to view the eclipse, and a special Light Sound device that allows the visuals of the solar eclipse to be experienced audibly to those experiencing limited vision. Find out more about this Light Sound device here.

Solar Eclipse sunglasses are available on a first come, first serve basis, and you may receive one pair of glasses for each person present to pick up the glasses. 

Remember to never look directly at the sun with the naked eye.
