Pinch Pots Adult "Art Class"

Adult "Art Class" is our new recurring art program which will teach a new technique or art form at the most basic level. This month we are learning about pinch pots. Pinch pots are one of the oldest forms of art, dating back to ancient times where they were called "thumb pots," because the thumb is used to pinch the pots into formation. 

Making a pinch pot is a great introduction to ceramics. This is a great pot to make as a beginner because they take a more of a free form and don't need to be perfect looking. 

We will try our hand at this technique and make our own plant pot. Supplies will be limited and first come, first served.
