African Textiles Workshop with Renee Michea'l Jones

Renee Michea'l Jones is a cultural artist who focuses on African textiles. In this workshop, she uses her theatrical skills to weave a story about the history and making of the Adinkra cloths of the Ashanti of Ghana in West Africa. Renee then guides participants in creating their own Adinkra story banner using these ancient symbols of wisdom and knowledge.
