Join us each month for **Art! In the Style of...**, a hands-on mini art history program where participants explore the works of famous artists and create their own inspired pieces. This September, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we will dive into the vibrant world of Frida Kahlo, painting self-portraits that reflect her unique style and emotive symbolism.
In past sessions, we've embraced the bold and expressive self-portraits of Jean-Michel Basquiat, the iconic Pop Art prints of Andy Warhol, the striking silhouette tableaus of Kara Walker, and the contemporary 2D digital designs of Takashi Murakami. All materials are provided, and all skill levels are welcome. Come celebrate art, culture, and creativity with us each month at the library!
