ATMOS Energy Presents West Dressed: Story time and tour with the Texas Fashion Collection

Join us for a fun,  interactive story time at BookMarks! Come listen to the story Jingle Dancer by Cynthia Leitich Smith. Meet Jenna, a young Native American girl who loves watching  videos of her grandma dancing at a powwow and wants a jingle dress of her own. We'll watch a clip of traditional jingle dancing and make our own jingle noises too! Afterwards we'll take a stroll to see another creative version of a jingle dress in the exhibition West Dressed: Fashion Inspired by the American Frontier. This exhibition is presented by the Texas Fashion Collection and NorthPark Center.
