This is the second meeting of the Bachman Lake Book Club. This month we'll be looking at our first 'classic' read, by turning our eyes to one of the original dystopia novels and a cornerstone of American fiction. 

Guy Montag is a fireman, but he doesn't extinguish fires. He burns books. In this distant possible future, firefighters are meant to destroy any books they may find out in the world. Yet after he meets a very special young woman, he begins to question not just his occupation, but the very world he lives in. 

This event will take place in person. Please register in advance. Instructions on how to participate will be sent out the day before the meeting.
