Discover how to expand your family history research beyond your local library! In this session, learn how to use WorldCat—the world’s largest library catalog—to track down hard-to-find genealogy materials, explore what’s available through Texas public libraries’ new interlibrary loan (ILL) system (Texas Armadillo Network), and uncover what the Dallas Public Library already holds in its extensive genealogy collection. You’ll also get practical tips for planning library visits, requesting copies/scans, and making the most of your research time wherever your ancestors’ stories lead.
This Genealogy & History program is available both in-person at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, 8th floor AND online via Zoom. Register below for either option!
