Join us at Arcadia Park Branch Library for an Afro music, dance, and culture workshop in celebration of Juneteenth!

Obiora Asiama provides workshops in Afro dance from the beginner through advanced levels. These workshops encourage participants to develop a lifelong relationship with Afro music, dance, and culture. Classes involve warmups, fundamentals of Afro-dance, vocabulary, history, and professional choreography.

Juneteenth Celebration with Obiora Asiama is supported in part by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.

 

¡Únase a nosotros en la biblioteca de Arcadia Park para un taller de música, danza y cultura en celebración del 19 de junio!

 

Obiora Asiama ofrece talleres de danza desde niveles principiantes hasta avanzados. Estos talleres alientan a los participantes a desarrollar una relación de por vida con la música, la danza y la cultura. Las clases incluyen calentamientos, fundamentos de la danza afro, vocabulario, historia y coreografía profesional.

 

La celebración del 19 de junio con Obiora Asiama cuenta con el apoyo de la Oficina de Arte y Cultura de la Ciudad de Dallas.
