Celebrate your freedom to read! 

During the month of August, vote for your favorite banned books on DPL's Instagram, @dallaspubliclibrary

Then, celebrate the winning banned books with trivia and a banned book discussion. Winners will receive fun prizes! 

Trivia and discussion at the following locations:

North Oak Cliff Branch Library- Saturday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m.

Kleberg-Rylie Branch Library- Friday, Sept. 16 at1:30 p.m.

Wild Detectives Bookstore and Coffee Shop- Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m.

 

Banned Books Week is Sept 18-24. This year's theme will be "Books Unite Us."  Banned Books Week is the annual celebration of the freedom to read
