February 5th is Meteorologist Day, and we are celebrating all week with Grab & Go crafts!
In this after-school activity kit, you will receive supplies to create a weathervane!
When completed, this project allows kids to see which direction the wind is blowing at any given time, and is a great tool to learn a bit about the weather.
These kits will be available Feb. 2 through 8 at the following branch libraries:
Lakewood | Lochwood | Martin Luther King Jr. | White Rock Hills
We will be giving these away on a first come first serve basis until supplies run out, if one branch has run out please try contacting another.
