Pride Month Celebration at the Central Library
Saturday, June 24
Celebrate Pride Month at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library with an event-packed day!
- Enjoy family crafts like tie-dye, friendship bracelets and chalk art out on the balcony.
- Stroll through the LGBTQIA+ resource fair to connect with community advocacy groups or meet with wellness experts.
- Check out artwork from local Dallas artists at the Art Market. (If you are interested in purchasing art, please bring cash as some artists may not take plastic.)
- Capture the day with our rainbow photo booth!

Celebrate Pride Month with a fun DIY for kids and families! Make your own colorful wreath out of pom poms, and show off your creative skills. All supplies will be provided.

Pride Pronoun Key Chains
Pick from a selection of key chain templates or draw your own. Once you've got your design down, color it on our special shrink paper, and staff will shrink it and turn it into a keychain!

Rainbow Sugar Scrub
Celebrate pride month with this sweet craft as you make your own Rainbow Sugar Scrub! Each registered participant will get to make their own colorful exfoliant that is sure to smell divine. Registration is for ONE person. Each attendee must be registered.

Open to all LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies, Pride@thePark is an arts and literature program centered on queer media either by queer authors or featuring queer characters. Stop by for a showing of Love, Simon while we make a craft and enjoy snacks.
