Event Details
For those curious about the philosophy of existentialism, who ponder the nature of their existence and wonder about what it all means, freedom of choice and "being" itself, take a closer look by participating in a new book club about that very subject.
Delve into the next work chosen for this series, Jean-Paul Sartre's 1939 existentialist short story collection, The Wall. Within that collection, the session will focus on two short stories: Erostratus and Intimacy. Then participate in a virtual discussion of the works, led by Dr. Kenneth Williford, Associate Professor & Chair of the Department of Philosophy & Humanities at the University of Texas at Arlington.
This program was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Dallas Public Library.
This program is available online only.
