Collin County Genealogical Society is committed to helping all researchers discover their roots by presenting educational programs. 

March's Meeting:  Researching with Newspapers on the Portal to Texas History and Related Resources, Speaker: Timothy Gieringer

This will be an overview of the newspapers available for genealogical research on the Portal to Texas History along with a demonstration of how to use them. As well as a look at newspapers on the Gateway to Oklahoma History and Chronicling America.

CCGS program meetings featuring guest speakers are on the second Wednesday of each month September - June from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Our March 8, 2023 genealogy program will be Zoom Only. Check the CCGS page to get the Zoom link for the monthly program.
