Collin County Genealogical Society is committed to helping all genealogy researchers discover their roots by presenting educational programs. 

April's Meeting:  Exploring Dual County Seats in the U.S. - What Does It Mean for Genealogists!, Speaker: Bill Buckner, Genealogy Center Supervisor McLennan County Library Waco, TX.

This presentation will explore the who, what, why, and where of dual county seats in the U.S. and the challenges of filing and researching records in these counties. 

CCGS program meetings featuring guest speakers are on the second Wednesday of each month September - June from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. April's program is both VIRTUAL & In Person. Check the CCGS page to get the Zoom link for the virtual meeting
