Participate in group activities that help spur imagination, insight and visions for the future. Talk to library staff about your ideas and what is important to you.

The comprehensive facilities and strategic master plan will articulate a vision for the future of library services and provide a roadmap to guide policy decisions, budgets, programs, services, collections, technology and staffing for the next 5-10 years.

Through its planning consultant, Group 4, Dallas Public Library will look at the current state of the library system, facilities usage and the community needs of each library service area. The planning process includes identifying library and city priorities, including gathering feedback from neighborhood residents.

The strategic and facilities plan is expected to begin implementation in early 2024.
