As we celebrate Black History Month, we will learn about different African American artists and their different art styles. Lorna Simpson is a Jamaican-Cuban artist that use her artwork to make a statement about hair discrimination. During this after school craft, we will learn how to create a magazine collage, as well as learn the art of Zentangles to create hair portraits in Lorna Simpson's style.
