Event Details

As we celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Month, we will learn about different Asian Cultures and will highlight a new country each week. Koinobori, meaning "carp streamer" in Japanese are carp-shaped windsocks traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate Tango no sekku, a traditional even now known as Children's Day. During this after school craft, we will be making our very own carp kites to fly at home!
