Pagodas are tiered towers common to many countries in Asia such as Thailand, Nepal, China, and more. one believed origin for the word pagoda is from a South Chinese pronunciation of the term for an 8-cornered tower. During this after school craft, we will be learning a paper folding technique popular in China and Japan to make out own origami pagodas.
