Program Description

Event Details

Crafternoon is a monthly series where your imagination and creativity are unleashed with crafts and fun!
A  new craft every month!
This is an outdoor event, please keep social distancing in mind; masks are recommended.

This month we are continuing our celebration of Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month by making Taíno rock carvings, or Taíno petroglyphs. These carvings are found in caves and near rivers in Puerto Rico, Cuba, and throughout the Caribbean, which are some of the oldest in the world! Today you will get to create your very own “rock art” and learn about the indigenous culture of Latin America.

Register below, limited quantities in supplies available on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day of the program.
