Event Details
Papel Picado or perforated paper, involves folding and cutting construction paper based on the traditional Mexican Folk Art. Participants will produce various examples of designs that include abstract pieces, pop-up art, greeting cards, banners and more.
Local artist, and Community Artist Program member, Sal Barron, will not only show us how to create this art, he will tell us the history behind this fascinating Mexican Folk Art.
