Dancing Through Latin America presented by Ollimpaxqui Ballet Company

Celebrate Hispanic and LatinX Heritage Month with dance! Learn about the spirit and traditions behind dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Folklorico, and more in this family-friendly interactive program full of music and dance. 

Ollimpaxqui means Joyful Movement in Náhuatl, the language of the Aztecs. The group shares its knowledge of Latin-American Folklore through performing and teaching in schools, auditoriums, and recreation centers. Ollimpaxqui was born in México City and has been based in Dallas since 1985.
