Faux leather made from brown paper bags is a fun and easy project that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as making wallets, bags, or even book covers. So if you’re looking to recycle brown paper bags, look no more. The finished product has a rustic, natural look that is different from traditional faux leather. It’s a little darker than the natural color of a brown paper bag and it will take on a slightly leathery sheen due to the finishing technique used. This book cover retains some of the texture of the brown paper bag, with wrinkles and folds adding to the natural look, and it’s surprisingly durable.
