Program Description

Event Details

Visit the Kleberg Rylie Branch Library anytime from October 26th to November 6th to learn more about The Day of the Dead and how alters are used to honor our past. Learn why Día de Muertos is a time for celebration, why calacas and calaveras (skeletons and skulls) appear frequently, and more about the use of candles, flowers, food, and Pan de muerto (Day of the dead bread). While you're there, check out a book to take home to learn more!

This program is made possible in part by the Friends of the Dallas Public Library.
