Dia del Nino: "Movement and Myth: Aztec Stories through Nonverbal Performance" performed by Kelechi

In celebration of Día del Nino we have invited Kelechi to provide a theater workshop entitled, "Movement and Myth: Aztec Stories through Nonverbal Performance". In this performance-based workshop, youth learn about Aztec mythology through physical storytelling. Participants do not use scripts but instead rely on guided movement, gesture, and masks to interpret and perform myths narrated aloud. The focus is on body awareness, ensemble work, and cultural storytelling through nonverbal performance. This workshop can function as a single session or be extended into a series exploring different myths and characters.
