Protect the Pollinators – Kaleidoscope of Color
The monarch butterfly population is rising but is still dangerously low. Dallas is a stop on the monarch butterfly migration highway as they wing their way to Mexico, so you can directly help our state insect. It’s easy to add food, water and shelter to your landscape. See how to take everyday items to make a pollinator pub (wildlife water station) and butterfly feeder. If there’s time, you’ll also learn how to make a mason bee house.
