Grow with Us is a series of online sessions from the Dallas Public Library - Seed Library and Dallas Environmental Quality and Sustainability hosting expert speakers to share practical, informative, and inspirational information about growing and urban agriculture in Dallas.

Farmers Assisting Returning Military (F.A.R.M.) in a non-profit organization founded by veterans in 2015 that reestablishes the meaning in the lives of veterans through agricultural therapeutic rehabilitation and training, or"dirt therapy". Farming is the foundation of this program that allows veterans a pathway to reintegrating into society to once again become teachers, providers, nurturers and leaders while empowering them to lead the change in America's distressed food system. Join Steve Smith, Co-founder  of F.A.R.M. as he  explains how returning to civilian life is tough for veterans, but farming recreates what they miss from their days of service in three ways: Purpose, Regimen and Camaraderie while also sharing his ideas on how collectively farmers and citizen gardners can address food insecurity.
