Event Details

Learn how a quadcopter drone functions, and the scientific and engineering principles behind drone flight. Topics include remote control communication, fundamentals of flight, limitations of drones, and the future of drone technology.

The goal of this lesson is to have participants leave with a basic understanding of how drones communicate via electromagnetic signals, the basics of flight: Force of lift needs to be greater than weight, current limitations with drones, and current research & new applications of drones.
