Birds are all around us! They do so much for the ecosystem and the world we live in, and it would be great to do something for them in return. We have the perfect opportunity for you to do just that!
February 17-20, 2023, The Audubon, The Cornell Lab, and Birds Canada are asking for participation in the Great Backyard Bird Count! The Great Backyard Bird Count is easy to take part in; spend at least 15 minutes observing birds outside and log what you saw and heard! Your contributions will help scientists who are trying to track bird migrations across the globe!
Want to learn more about how to participate and why it’s so important? Jake Poinsett, Program Manager for Academic Programs at the Trinity River Audubon Center, will be giving us the ins and outs of the Great Backyard Bird Count and how important our help can be!
Earth Day Every Day is a series of online environmental education sessions continuing with the Earth Day theme and bringing expert speakers, special program topics, and a reminder that every day is Earth Day.
