Many of us know that Earth Day is April 22nd every year, but did you know that a lot of people celebrate the earth all month long? The earth gives us everything: a place to live, food to eat, water to drink, and all the really cool plants and animals we share our spaces with. If you’ve ever wanted to know how to show your love for the planet, this program is for you! We’ll learn the history of Earth Day and how to celebrate at any time of the year.
Earth Kids is a series of monthly in person programs with hands-on activities with the Dallas Public Library and The Office of Environmental Quality and Sustainability. The program is aimed at kids 14 and under encouraging them to become environmentalists and learn different ways to take care of the planet.
