We live in a changing climate, but what does that mean, and can children make a difference? We’ll be learning all about climate change, how Dallas is working to slow down the effects of climate change and you can help. Since climate affects weather patterns, we’ll make paper airplanes to show how weather and climate are connected and can impact our daily lives. We’ll also learn about Climate Action Day.
Earth Kids is a series of monthly in person programs with hands-on activities with the Dallas Public Library and The Office of Environmental Quality and Sustainability. The program is aimed at kids 14 and under encouraging them to become environmentalists and learn different ways to take care of the planet.
