The Dallas Public Library
requests the pleasure of your company
at An Evening at Pemberley
a ball in honor of Jane Austen's 250th birthday
to be held in the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library
on the evening of July the twenty-sixth
at six o’clock.
This event is 18+ only. A Government-issued ID is needed for a drink ticket, ID's will be checked at the door.

6:00 - 9:00 Tea Tasting, DIY Bath Salts, and Wax Seals
6:00 - 9:00 Regency games
6:30 - 7:15 English country dance class, Set 1
6:30 - 8:30 Paper Quilling workshop
6:30 - 8:30 Watercolor painting
7:00 - 7:30 Acquainted With Without Knowing: Shakespeare and the Theatre in Mansfield Park
7:30 - 8:15 English country dance class, Set 2
8:00 - 8:45 The Majesty and Mystery of Floriography According to Jane Austen
Vendor booths and dancing will be available throughout the evening.

Parking: Event parking is free in our library parking garage. The entrance is located behind the library, on Wood. St. (Put 1541 Wood St. into your GPS.). The library parking garage has limited spaces and will be first-come, first-served. Street parking and paid lots are available all around the downtown Dallas area.
Cost: All activities are free, but vendors will charge for items they are selling, and food will have a cost.
Costumes: Just like at any ball, costumes are encouraged!
