As part of RootsTech 2022, FamilySearch will be offering FREE book scanning at the Dallas Public Library. Talk with your local FamilySearch volunteers, get a tour of the Heritage Lab, our state of the art preservation center, and browse Dallas Public Library's nationally recognized genealogy collection!

Accepted items that can be scanned:

  • Family histories
  • Biographies
  • Local histories
  • Family Bibles
  • Yearbooks
  • Journals (must be older than 70 years)

Only books that are in the public domain or accompanied by permission from the copyright holder may be digitized.
