Program Description

Event Details

Welcomes to the library of people! Instead of borrowing a book, indulge in the experience of checking out a person. Challenge stereotypes and prejudices through dialogue.
The Human Library allows people to come together in an informal, one-on-one setting to have a comfortable dialogue about often uncomfortable topics. Our human books are pulled from fascinating members of our communities who have captivating stories that you MUST hear.

During the program, readers will get a chance to talk with our Human Books, each representing a different generation (Silent to Gen Z). People are encouraged to actively listen, ask questions, learn, and remain respectful of shared dialogues and experiences.

How it works:

  • Come in between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. and spend 20 minutes "reading" one of our Human books.
  • Have a conversation, ask questions, stay open, and learn
