The Great Backyard Bird Count

The Great Backyard Bird Count is an international event that occurs every February. Led by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the Audubon Society, and Birds Canada, this event uses citizen science to collect data that helps scientists better understand bird populations around the globe. 

Come get an introduction to citizen science and to learn how to take part in this count. This is a come and go event. There will be a table set up in the atrium (weather-permitting) with information and kids will be able to make their very own pair of binoculars! Bird watchers of all skill levels are welcome!
