Formerly known as the Bonsai Society of Texas, the club was founded in1965 by George Gray and Arch Hawkins, and was the first of its kind in Texas. Following in the footsteps of our original founders, the Bonsai Society of Dallas welcomes all who have an interest in the art of bonsai. They have members of all ages, all skill levels, all walks of life. Brian Myers, president of the Dallas Bonsai Society, will be discussing different influences on bonsai, as well as an introduction to the club, and how they are organized.
