The Hajj of Malcolm X: An Eid Al-Adha Celebration

Please join us and the Islamic Circle of North America for a lovely afternoon of discussion and learning - digitally! Hosted by ICNA Dallas, join us as we explore how the pilgrimage to Mecca enlightened Malcolm X's views on racism.  Considered to be the world's largest human gathering, we will also discuss what exactly the Hajj is and why about 2.5 million people journey here every year. The Hajj is followed by a huge celebration called Eid-Al Adha, also known as the festival of sacrifice of Abraham. We will explore and celebrate the meaning behind this beautiful holiday. Our guest speaker, Imam Abdullah Oduro, will be leading the discussion. Abdullah Oduro is a graduate from the College of Islamic Law from the University of AlMadinah in 2007.  He conducts public speeches, sermons, lectures, and workshops around the U.S. on Islamic law, self-improvement, and convert life.  He is currently the Imam at the Islamic Center of Coppell and Lewisville in Dallas, TX.  He resides in Dallas, TX with his wife and four children.
