Event Details

Chronic sleep problems such as not being able to fall or stay asleep are pervasive in children with autism.  As a result, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder are sleeping far less than the recommended time needed to restore and rejuvenate their brains.  Lack of sleep leads to the child being tired and unproductive during the day not to mention creating meltdowns and irritability.

Dr. Amber Brook is a pediatrician that specializes in the complex problems children with autism struggle with including sleep irregularity. She will provide guidance to assist parents in improving and regulating their child's sleep habits.
