Listen to soothing music while instructor Sharita Richardson of Poet &Papyrus, LLC, leads a relaxing painting program with accommodations for students with special needs. All supplies are provided and registration is limited. Participants will need a caregiver to attend the program with them.

Mrs. Richardson is a native of Washington D.C. who studied Radio/TV/Film at Clark Atlanta University and later finished her B.S. in Biblical Studies at Liberty University.  She is also a current candidate for a master’s in special education at Grand Canyon University.  Mrs. Richardson is a former Homebound SPED teacher at Duncanville ISD and is a current SPED substitute teacher in a behavioral classroom with Mansfield ISD.  She is married with five beautiful children and enjoys cooking, swimming, writing poetry and children’s books, and listening to inspirational music while doing arts and crafts. Inspiring young students though creative arts is something she truly loves.
