Event Details
Low-impact yoga exercise can provide pain relief naturally to people suffering from arthritis, or other ailments, by strengthening the muscles around the joints, helping to maintain bone strength and increasing flexibility. Each session will end with a meditation sequence that has shown to relieve stress. Yoga sessions will be led by a teacher from the Indian Cultural Heritage Foundation.
This is a free class for all ability levels and can be adapted to each person’s comfort level on floor or in chair. Bring a yoga mat or towel with you.
