Event Details

Learn the history and meaning behind African textiles such as Ghanaian Adinkra and Batik printing, Nigerian Adire clothing, and Abomey Applique of the Republic of Benin. Renee Miche'al Jones will explain how the textures tell a wealthy story and the gold behind the cloths.
