Event Details

It's been almost 50 years since Trammel Crowe purchased two sculptures from artist and professor J. Brough Miller and donated them to the City of Dallas. The sculptures, entitled "Malthusian Concepts" and "Descending Spheres," have been located on the front lawn of the Lakewood Branch Library ever since, but they have only recently received some special lighting.

Join the Lakewood Library Friends on Wednesday, January 29 evening and watch the solar timed lights turn on as the sun goes down.  The Friends will provide glow-in-the-dark chalk, stickers, and perler bead projects for the young (and the young at heart) and local businesses will bring pop-up coffee and sweets trucks for adults to enjoy beverages and treats.
