NASA's Solar System Ambassadors will share their enthusiasm for outer space and the Moon with exciting information about the Artemis Program--to send the first woman and next man to the Moon--and as well as great tips for observing our Moon.
After the sun sets, head outside and catch a glimpse of the Moon.
International Observe the Moon Night is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation and understanding of our Moon and its connection to NASA planetary science and exploration. Each year, scientists, educators and lunar enthusiasts from around the world unite to celebrate.
This year it is easy to find events that are virtual, free and open to the public to participate such as the University of Arizona's full weekend of events with the Art of Planetary Science Exhibit. Or explore lunar myths and legends recorded from around the world.
The Dallas Public Library's event is entirely virtual, too!
