This exhibition explores memory and identity through the DNA held in the family tablecloth. What greater keeper of our family story than the placeholder of our greatest gatherings: the dinner table, meeting place, late night and early morning gathering place and worry spot? Our literal blood, sweat, tears, spilled coffee and liquor stains recall the vivid images, arguments, woes, triumphs and goodbyes across generations.
