"Jazz Concert" performed by Herbie Johnson

The Herbie Johnson Jazz Quartet will present programs that may include a review of Jazz Music designed for youth, adults, and senior citizens. Programs may also contain festive music for receptions and luncheons, as well as listening sessions, presenting music from early swing, Blues and Modern Jazz. Improvisation, which is the key to Jazz music is emphasized. 

A major in all presentations will be the close relationship of African and European influences in the development of American Jazz music.
