JUANA INÉS: THE CHILD WHO LOVED TO READ - 

Hear the story of the Mexican poet Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, who lived in Mexico during the 17th century when women were discouraged from reading and writing. With perseverance, Sor Juana overcame many obstacles to become the most famous poet in the history of Mexico.

After the broadcast of the play there will be a 30 minute live interactive activity!

  • 4 pieces of blank paper 
  • pencil 
  • eraser 
  • crayons or colored pencils (red, and yellow for sure) 
  • a black marker(optional)
