Hey Kids,

Do you want to know how-to cook? Join us for Kids Cook. We make amazing dishes with everyday ingredients. Lets create some awesome cuisines. 

Supplies:

  • 1 paring or plastic knife
  • 1 cutting board
  • 2 plate (paper or plastic plate) 
  • 2 spoons 
  • 1/2 cup & 1/4 measuring cup
  • 1 rolling pin
  • 1 sealable jar 

 

Sandwich Sushi 

  • 1 loaf of bread (white or wheat, your choice) or 1 flour tortilla for alternative 
  • Sandwich or deli meat (ham, turkey or vegan meat; your choice)
  • Carrot Sticks
  • Cucumber sticks (pickles are a substitute as well) 
  • Mayonnaise or mustard 
  • 1 Cheese Slices (Cheddar, mozzarella or whatever cheese your prefer)

 

Create your Own Trail Mix

  • 1 bag of peanuts (almonds or pretzels are substitutes) 
  • 1 bag of grains
  • 1 bag of candy (examples are M&Ms, Recess Pieces or Hershey pieces) but avoid any fruit-based candy (ex. Starbusts and Skittles)
  • 1 bag of chocolate chips
  • 1 bag of dried fruit (raisins, dried apricots, bananas or other fruits can be used) 
  • 1 bag of coconut shaving (optional)
