Hey Kids, do you want to know how to cook? Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with these easy authentic dishes you can make without turning on a stove! First, create Ceviche, a well-known Peruvian dish. Next, a Mexican Fruit Salad, combining all the best fruits with bold seasoning. Wow your family with your new culinary skills on this delicious cultural tour!
Ceviche
- Supplies
- 1 paring or plastic knife
- 1 cutting board
- 1 strainer
- 1 bowl
- Ingredients
- 2 ounce cooked, deveined small shrimp or canned cooked tuna (canned is fine) (Optional)
- 1 small lemon or lemon juice
- 1 small lime or lime juice
- 2 Roma tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of chopped Cilantro
- 1 small Jalapeno (optional, remove seeds for less heat)
- Salt and pepper: Add to taste.
- 1 cucumber
- 1 small avocado
- 1 small package Tortilla Chips

- 1 small lime or lime juice
- Cantaloupe (optional)
