Hey Kids, do you want to learn how-to cook?
Its a New Year and that means two brand new recipes. Both dishes will involve using a microwave so make sure to have two coffee mugs. Let's start 2022 with some amazing food.
Supplies:
- 1 paring or plastic knife
- 1 cutting board
- 2 plate (paper or plastic plate)
- 2 bowls
- 2 spoons
- 1/2 cup & 1/4 measuring cup
- Microwave
- 2 coffee mugs
- 1 whisk
Microwave Pizza Mug
- All purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/16 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons milk (milk substitute such as Soy and Almond can be used)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (vegetable or canola oil can be used
- 1 tablespoon marinara sauce (spaghetti sauce is a substitute)
- 1 generous tablespoon shredded mozzarella cheese (any shredded cheese will work, even vegan cheese)
- 5 mini pepperoni (Vegan meat options or deli meat options)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (basil or oregano, your choice)
Microwave Brownies
- All purpose flour
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 bag Brown sugar
- pinch of salt
- 6 tablespoons (3floz/90ml) milk
- 2 tablespoons flavorless oil (canola oil/vegetable oil/sunflower oil)
- Vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon semi-sweet chocolate chips
